LAT updated

• The LAT system of the Language Bank of Finland has been updated. The new LAT corpus browser now works without Java.

The Newspaper and Periodical OCR Corpus of the National Library of Finland (1771-1874) now also in Taito

• The Newspaper and Periodical OCR Corpus of the National Library of Finland (1771-1874) is now available also in the Taito server, directory name: /appl/kielipankki/Digilib-pub

Favourable statement from The Education and Culture Committee of the Finnish Parliament regarding Finland’s accession to the CLARIN-ERIC Consortium

• On September 25 The Education and Culture Committee decided to propose to the Finnish Parliament that Finland would join the Common Language Resources and Technology Infrastructure (CLARIN ERIC) Consortium. For details see https://www.eduskunta.fi/FI/vaski/Lausunto/Sivut/SiVL_2+2015.aspx
