Downloadable version of the corpus Follow-up Study of Dialects of Finnish, with an updated license

Until the year 2020, the resource Follow-up Study of Dialects of Finnish was available via the LAT platform in the Language Bank of Finland. The same data set is now offered as a downloadable version.

Due to the personal data included in the corpus, access to the Follow-up Study of Dialects of Finnish is restricted to individual researchers who have been granted rights to use the resource. The license now also includes resource-specific data protection terms and conditions (see the license page) with which the users must comply.

The data protection terms and conditions of the Follow-up Study of Dialects of Finnish were compiled together with the Institute for the Languages of Finland (Kotus) and with the researchers who were involved in preparing the resource.
