Status of Satu’s sensitive data

The MA thesis(”Perkeptuaalisen arvioinnin verkkosovellus r-äännevirheen ultraäänikuntoutuksen vaikutuksen arvioimisessa”) based on evaluating impaired speech data will be handed in tomorrow and, all going well, published by the end of October. The thesis can serve as a handbook how to reproduce the results. For now we can use a published Poster to give an idea about the approach.

Off-the-shelf software was used to process/view the data

• Audacity
• Matlab
• Praat
• VLC
• R
• Open/Libre/MS Office

The scripts created (Matlab/R) are to be published in Github.

The video recordings (only the audio part was used)

Next Steps & Open Questions

Martin will present this case to the Secure Desktop Product Owner.

Questions:

• How could existing code in Github be securely further developed in a Secure Desktop Environment, since git push/pull are not possible?
• Should the become an article? If so, where to publish?
