The META-SHARE service is the metadata repository of the Language Bank of Finland’s language resources.
Log data accumulated through service use are used to ensure its functioning, identify problems and collect statistics on service use. The usernames and other personal data of partners are processed to enable the use of the system.
The grounds for the processing of personal data is the legitimate interest of the controller.
The META-SHARE service stores in its log data users’ IP addresses and related actions carried out in META-SHARE, such as the records users have explored.
In the case of service administrators, their name, username and email are stored.
User-related stored data are removed after two years.
Data pertaining to service administrators are stored for as long as necessary for the functioning of the service.
