Hippu to be decomissioned in 31 December 2014, replaced by Taito-shell

• The application servers hippu1, hippu2, hippu3.csc.fi and hippu4.csc.fi will be taken out of production 31 December 2014. The applications on Hippu will be available on a service called taito-shell, connected to the Taito supercluster. Important: if you have files on Hippu, you need to transfer them to Taito by the end of the year. If you need help with transferring your files, contact ling@csc.fi. The Swedish n-grams of the Newspaper and Periodical Corpus of the National Library of Finland available for download

• The Swedish n-grams 1770-1940 of the Newspaper and Periodical Corpus of the National Library of Finland can be downloaded by decade at http://www.helsinki.fi/finclarin/snc1.

The sentences of the corpus can be studied in Korp https://korp.csc.fi.

The Speech and EGG (Electroglottography) Simultaneous Recordings in LAT

• The Speech and EGG (Electroglottography) Simultaneous Recordings corpus is now available for research and teaching purposes in LAT.
